So now you know for REAL. That IRV has ALL the fun! The American is a not-to-miss venue any time you hunger for excellent food and delightful company. Along with the George Mann Tory Tavern, it is among the crown jewels of Schoharie County.

Thanks robbump. Appreciate the reinforcement. Especially as Downtown offers more and more to do, day or night. Don't forget ART NIGHT Schenectady -- and Art Night at Proctors on Sept. 17. All free and family focused fun and enlightenment! An event to rally around and be proud of. More at proctors.org

Enjoyed this insight from Barbara DeMille and wished I had had the time to formulate and write it myself. Think and even "group think' are so of the moment that I often ask myself while driving (the last frontier of iffy personal time) what was decided and about what. Even as I read my weekly updates on health and wellness choices, more often than not, I heave a sigh and hope that I can assimilate it with what came before. Time to pill down for my own chronic illnesses...and whispered dis-ease about a world that increasingly seems to allude me.

Delighted to read about Proctor's. The article is very informative and hopefully the author will continue the intersting articles on the region and the people who work and live there!!! CAW

This is one of two installments on local craftsman and their contributions to Proctors. I have received comments in person and via my home email. I invite readers to post their comments here at the Gazette. The process may be new to some but it is as simple as typing your reaction to this blog. - Thom

Always enjoy this reviewers perspective: informative, historic, and generous. Certainly a delightful night out at the Playhouse and in downtown Schenectady.
