If the food in Hudson is any indication the menu that they do have will suffice. Give it a chance! Burger King and McDonald's sells hamburgers but get the same hamburger at Juicy Burger and there is a world of difference. Wake up! I've already heard critcism that the colors make it an eyesore but what about the run down condition it was in before. I can't wait to go there.

I understand that teachers are held to a standard and their behavior should be beyond exemplary. I agree the teacher should have been dismissed. Teachers especially should be very careful what they post online and what they say in the classroom. Their job is to open students minds to what information is available to help form opinions. They should not try to impose their beliefs on the forming minds of the children in front of them. Having said that I am concerned that the use of the n word is becoming too big an issue. What about the other derogatory words used against every class of citizen whose ancestors have come here from different countries? People of varying ethnic groups? Perhaps if it weren't made such an issue it would just go away.

Her lack of response shows a very egotistical attitude. Just because someone works for you doesn't make them a slave to you. Maybe she should be voted out. Grateful I don't live in Malta

Although I am not a special needs teacher, I did work with children with special needs in my classroom. I think what you are doing is great. If I can help in anyway please let me know. Thank you

I needed help three times in the past three years and REMS was there each time almost instantaneously. They were wonderful especially when my son died. Why do we need anyone else? What would be accomplished by getting rid of them? They work with the Rotterdam Police; they are an effective team; and we aren't dependent on an outside for profit source. Today everything is for profit. Let's keep Rotterdam a nice place to live. Please let's keep REMS

They need some money coming in to go to pay raises and to supply the gas to drive around town. Also to keep the trucks going while they are having their hour coffee breaks at Stewarts and breakfasts at the Redwood. Somebody has to pay for that. Why not seniors? They really think we're stupid.

eLLIS hospital should first check to see if overdose patients are really overdose patients. My son was brought in because of what we thought was an overdose. He died three days later at home but there were no drugs found in his system. What we thought was an overdose of heroin was something completely different. Still don't know what it was. but if it had been heroine it would have shown up on the toxicology report now wouldn't it have

It seems that talking is all that is being done. My son stayed clean for 14 years and then started using again while in Saratoga County Jail. He documented it all so it's not a lie. How did he get it? No one even visited him. Please you tell me. He died in October. Two days before his death he went to Ellis Hospital from an overdose. Even though I told them he was bipolar they wouldn't keep him. Although I desperately tried to get him help there was no one willing to help. My son was 40 years old and brilliant. What happened/ Why is there no help for people with mental problems and addictions.

Democracy in action. The people speak and are heard. But watch our taxes go up. We need honest people on the board. I hope this is a lesson to the voting public
