Democracy in action. The people speak and are heard. But watch our taxes go up. We need honest people on the board. I hope this is a lesson to the voting public

Perhaps the police should carry video cameras with them. Women can sometimes get really violent whether under the influence of drugs or alcohol or just anger.

I sympathize with you. My son also had a lifelong problem with depression. He died on October 22 this year from pulmonary edema. He was 40 years old. We tried to get him help but his physical and mental pain was so great it was very hard for him to deal with. He also self medicated but with drugs. He was getting help but it just wasn't enough. I am so sorry for all of us who have dealt with mental illness. Sometimes it seems so hopeless

We need the highway funding increase so the workers can spend their breaks at Stewarts or the Redwood Diner or Tastee Pizzeria. And folks if you don't see the trucks out front they're usually hiding them behind the buildings. These "breaks" start at 7am. If they're just starting work why do they need a break? And although I only used the waste pick up once in 48 years of living here I will now use it frequently. Why waste my gas to go around the corner to take my waste to the compost station when they can pick it up?

Parents also have to be accountable and I mean the parents of the children who are doing the bullying. Don't blame it all on the schools. People expect the schools to handle all education-social, moral, as well. Where do parents come in. Schools can only go so far. Where exactly is the responsibility of the parents who wanted these children and then send them off to school at 5 and think they can forget about them

Seems to be a lot of dirty laundry in that part of the state. Perhaps there should be an investigation into who is behind all this corruption

Seems like First amendment rights and free enterprise are being criticized by the state. How about addressing corruption among politicians under the name of free enterprise

Beyond toilet paper include in those need: soap, shampoo, razors, antibiotic creams and bandages and the list goes on. What right does the government have to say how these "food stamps" should be spent? And by the way Mr. Carney "defrauding the government" really? How does the government defraud hard working people who can barely make ends meet?

If you are in public service and you are paid by a community you should be expected to live in and support that community. That goes for police as well

SO WHAT!!! People had a good time. Things were done in an orderly fashion. I am a retired resident and I enjoyed watching the traffic go by into Thursday morning. So there was a little traffic on the road and maybe a little noise and a little litter. People enjoyed themselves. Local economy was spurred. Some of you should get a life. Better Bisco than Federal troops collecting guns and searching houses.
