This wasn't really a consolation game as the matchups were set ahead of time.

No strong opinion on the new web design. It wouldn't let me view subscriber-only content yesterday but that seems to have been fixed. But I tried the iPad app and it's pretty horrible. It lets me log in but I still can't view any articles, and the layout of the app is just not good. That can't possibly be the best newspaper-on-tablets option out there. Hope it either improves or you choose a better partner on that venture.

Key information missing here -- who was distributing these turtles at the fair, and what consequences will they face for violating the law?

Teamline's Friday broadcast was loud oldies music and talk on top of a very faint Union hockey broadcast in the background. After a while, the "listen" link was removed and replaced with a "technical difficulties" message. I guess they didn't get anything worth archiving.

The broadcast came through as usual on Saturday.

And thank you for another season of the best Union College hockey coverage out there. Let's hope we all get to follow the team to Atlantic City and then on to Tampa next season.

Well said in those first two paragraphs, though "some bumps along the way" is a putting it kindly. Thank you to the team and staff for such an enjoyable season, congratulations, and keep this going well into March!

Correction: RPI has clinched home ice for the first round. That only requires an 8th place finish. They're still in the hunt for a first-round bye, which would require a top-4 finish.
