For years, industrial sites that once fueled the city’s economy have sat idle and deteriorating in and around residential areas. Now, the brownfields are presenting an opportunity for residents to re-invent their neighborhoods.
Well, it is all coming out now!!! I,too, am a former employee of Ellis and a unwilling former employee of St. Clare's. I left Ellis after 3 weeks when St. Clare's closed. Connolly has said that it was a smooth transition, is not exactly truthful. And if you think its bad now. More and more nurses are leaving because Ellis was not and never will be what St. Clare's had in its nurses and staff. Having worked in Critical Care I can proudly say that St. Clares' nurses,PCA's, respiratory therapists, and all other support staff worked extremely well as a TEAM.We treated each other with respect and management knew exactly what was going on with patient care (as they should). I honestly cannot say the same for Ellis. And that is why I left. So, Mr. Connolly, I hope you have a plan in the near future when the weather starts to turn. This is supposed to be our slow season (summer)when hospital census is usually low. And to think this could have been avoided had we kept Mr Capobianco. I am deeply saddened that this all happened to a great team at St. Clare's.
