I wonder will this city ever get over racism one day? Racism is what is mainly holding back this city. Once you end the racism for real, when it comes to the money and some jobs. Then the city will improve to the point more people will want to live there.
This is a joke and the usual crooked business that goes on in this city. I am glad I don't live in this crazy place no more. It's crazy how black males get all types of crazy time for their drug dealing. Then this lady get's off with a light sentence,in spite of all the damage and mayhem this lady was directly causing by having all these drugs being sold in the poor community areas of the city. Typical racist type stuff to me
As I have been reading about this case I just shake my head overall in relation to how this violence and drug selling has been getting blamed on black people and black youth. At one time I was trying to live in the city and I think the city has great potential overall. I would hope that the bad cops, drugs, guns and racism finally leaves the city. Maybe then the city will be a better place to live.
I think they did deserve to be punished for the crime, since it was so brutal. But after reading the comments of superdave1919 I think he must be some type of racist. When he say's garbage or trash I wonder is he also talking hisself too. So where superdave come from ? As far I know this land was stolen from the natives (so-called american's).
Who made this person the super citizen of schenectady ?
Looking at the age of these 2 females to me it's real obvious that they were having a hard time living here in this city. Even though again it's no real excuse for the brutal way the older lady was treated.
superdave1919 should blame all these crooked, racist, upstate so-called politicians who to me can't seem to run their state in an orderly manner without some stealing, lying or other sneeky activity. People like superdave1919 wants to blame the victims in this society, instead of blaming the crooks who have been robbing people blind overall. I just wonder does superdave1919 hold politicians in this area/state accountable too for their actions.
As I read this article and have been reading other articles on this subject. I can say this problem is related to education and commonsense. These day's commonsense and education as been tossed in the trash can somewhere. When I hear kid's and adults call each other the n word and listen to what some of the kid's are listening to as they drive past me at time. The problem is clearly in front of me. I am not the only one who knows this. There are plenty of people who see and hear the same thing. The solution could be this I think.
For black young and older black males there should be some classes to explain the real history of all this excessive criminal behavior going down today in this society. Then there could be some classes for the young black females and some older black females in order to explain how to conduct themselves in a real female type way. These classes should be free and anybody that is involved in any type of criminal behavior in the city. It should be court ordered that they attend. Now this could be just a start. But it might help in the long run
