1967-1968; 1968-1969. my brother tom and I were fortunate enough to play on the only 2 football teams, representing bisop gibbons, to win the old diocesan league football championship. the coaches were ed oliviera and johnny verra.

that field house had 3 shower columns then, with shower heads pointing out all around. danny Webster and mark karbowski used to lead our team in singing "do wa diddy" by Manfred mann while we showered.

This would be a huge loss to S-G. She's an excellent leader. I've worked for S-G for over 15 years, through 4 superintendents and she is, by far, the best we've had.

It would be especially hard because we already have 6 administrative positions to fill.
