I'm never sure I understand this revitalization. It seems to be nothing more than tearing down buildings. What kind of business would fit in that neighborhood? Basically - none.

The rules for STAR are not that complicated - if people have owned and lived in their homes, they should be aware of the need to file the paperwork. It comes in the mail and for a government program, the paperwork is pretty simple. More than likely - many of these people filed for their rental properties and got caught.

Did anyone from the Gazette bother to read this headline?? It says "Noorzai headed back to prison." Hmmm - interesting considering that he was murdered 14 years ago. Way to go.

I feed my dog once a day. She gets treats. She gets exercise and does not gain or lost weight at all. Which is healthy for a grown dog. And true - most of the people we are taking about whose dogs end up there could care less.

Why does Wayne bennett have to discuss this? The police can't issue tickets without permission?? This city is FILTHY because of littering, garbage not properly placed out for collection, and owners refusing to clean up. Too many absentee owners. It is well known that stopping people to give out quality of life tickets helps find people with warrants. Schenectady is rapidly becoming diriter and generally worse, so this can only help. Go, Vince!!

This guy just cannot wait to get out and start his criminal activity all over. He takes zero responsibility for his crimes. I'm not violent? Many people might disagree.

Those people who love talking about all the problems we have here - generally do nothing for anyone.

Let me guess - the one and only incompetent Carl Falotico will get a promotion instead of getting fired. Here we go.

Someone should be offering Carl a plea deal - for his job. I hate to see a perfectly healthy dog put down because the people who own him are idiots. Their whining has gotten boring already. And now they have started a whole brouhaha over the city shelter. Once again - every thing in Schenectady has to be long, drawn out and messy because no one here has the sense to pass laws and regulations that are clear and enforceable. How many unlicensed dogs? Dangerous dogs? Lindsay - the easy way out would be throwing you in jail.

Thanks to those who smelled gas and did - nothing. When will the city admit that these dreadful properties are not sellable????? They are dangerous and there are squatters and thieves going in and out, creating more danger. Just more property that the taxpayers have to pay to maintain. Now we'll have extra costs and lawsuits. Great plan, Gary.
