well said, wmarincic.
As long as Obama is trying to bankrupt other industries with over regulation, he might as well target the insurance companies as well.

First off, If I tell you don't hit your hand with a hammer, and you choose to do so. I didn't WANT you to get hurt, I warned you about it.
ObamaCare is a simple plan to move to single payer health care. Obama is going to lie again in the near future, look I tried to work with the insurance companies and they didn't want to help. So now that it's a total and complete mess, big brother is going to provide for you. After all he does know better, and it will give people more time to update all their pseudo friends in cyberspace.

We could start by teaching and expecting people to be responsible to themselves, their families and their community.

I fear that we have become too concerned about being politically correct and being part of the in crowd. While the facts show that are economy is collapsing and our government is failing us and future generations miserably. Obama and his storm troopers tell us how they are only concerned about us and want us to be happy. Sure they aren't perfect, but they are trying. The fact that they keep passing laws with out reading or understanding them is only proof that they are working so hard for us, that they don't have time. Democrats keep stating that the majority of Americans love them, and so should we. Why don't we want to be part of the in crowd, maybe that is the problem. It is called the AFFORDABLE Care act, how could it be anything else?

Lets see, signing up 1,000 per day? 300,000 lost their insurance in one day in Florida. Obama Care can only get worse, more unemployed, underemployed, uninsured and people taxed and fined to the point of no return.

The very basis of the Affordable Care Act is flawed. It openly states that it relies on the young to buy coverage in mass to pay the main share. They didn't buy it before, they WILL NOT buy it at higher prices. But the Democrats have a solution for that, keep raising their taxes until they have nothing or they give in. Our government right now rewards failure and punishes those who succeed. Generation after generation has wanted better for the next one than they had, until now.

Let's see, as Senator Obama, he spoke against our increasing debt, said the average person was paying to much of the taxes and spoke out against raising the debt ceiling over and over. The people listened and gave him his chance. Now President Obama stomps his feet and won't talk about his solutions. Increasing the debt and raising taxes more than any other president. Passing a health care law that puts the main burden on the youth and middle class of the country, while skyrocketing their costs. That's a great solution.
In the end, all will discover who was fighting for them, and was fighting for themselves.

Taunting is one thing, they definitly needed to stop the chanting. But, where is the racial slur? Are you saying that people from Peurto Rico should not be proud of their heritage?

Rondo, if the situation works for you, then you are the first I have heard of. Glad that somebody will benefit. My insurance provided by my employer has almost tripled, boss says he can not afford any more. Many people I have talked to have seen major increases. But the main problem is the youth, they will not participate in the levels needed.

Hey Terry Amrhein, Have you actually looked at the law of the affordable care act (Neither did the democrats). It will not deliver anything it promised. So far it has cost thousands of jobs, Full time employment cuts, loss of coverage, and sky rocketing premiums and deductibles. It relies completely on 95 percent of the people who did not buy insurance (by choice) because they felt it was not affordable, to buy it now. They will not see plans that are doubled or even tripled as affordable. The only way to get any subsidies to make it affordable will be to pay outrageous premiums to insurance companies or major taxes to big brother. When you have nothing left, then you will get some crumbs. In the end you will know who fought for you, and who did not.
