Wow. Always something wrong with the police when these "victims" are committing felonies and get shot. Why should our officers have to wait until one of them are dead before they defend themselves? They are out there every day putting their lives on the line to keep idiots like you safe. Here's a clue on how not to get shot by a police officer... don't pull a gun or knife on them. I'm really tired of hearing how wonderful someone is once they pull a gun (or knife) on an officer and get killed. Really?? They are so great perhaps someone can explain their lengthy criminal records. Or in Riveras case why he had an illegal gun. And NO I'm not a cop or a family member. I'm an innocent citizen who is tired of being scared to walk the streets alone. I taught my kids right from wrong. Trust me the last the I worry about is one of them getting shot by a cop.... getting shot by someone like Rivera or stabbed by someone like Norwood, on the other hand, weighs heavy on my mind.
