Boy, what a poor example of a police officer, a public citizen, a role model, When will they ever learn of their responsibilities, Now if refusing the breath analyzer and the immediate suspension of his license, how is he going to work in a police car??? Maybe he should play in the band and leave the police department, Just what the Police Department needs at this time, another bad apple...

Lets see, He says because of the abritation that is required for his fellow Union Officers who are charged with either crimes, or administrative problems he has to spend most if not all of his time working to protect his fellow officers. I believe that the union must have representation and I believe that time must be spend in representing them.
But I believe his time off the job is excessive... Maybe he should return to being a police oficer rather than a Union leader.....Let the union select another leader......

well at the very least Schenectady will be saving $$$$ during his suspension, If it goes longer than 30 days than even more $$$$$ will be saved, Quite a cost saving measure if you ask me.......

Look, Its all very simple, No one was doing their jobs, not the Police on the job, not the Supervisors, not the Police Chief, not the Public Safety Commissioner, Not the Mayor...... Hold someone accountable, Maybe all of the above.....Its like no one knows the meaning of Supervision, responsibility, accountability, credability, honesty,
intergrity, etc, etc..... When will it change????
It starts with the Mayor, When will he become involved, When will he show accountability, He runs the city, he places responsibility with the Chief of Police and the Safety Commissioner, It after all of the abuses of the Police Department it has been shown it is failing, It's time to remove someone Like the Safety Commissioner.........

Boy, did this newsarticle generate the most amount of messages that I have ever seen, I wonder why???
Could it possibily be that we see sometype of pattern developing with the Police??? Where in the world is out Public Safety Director when these events happen?????? You must ask the Mayor, Police Chief and Public Safety Director what they are doing to run this Organization..... It's not a hard task to have radio checks with police, or to monitor the GPS randomaly, In fact the GPS were put in the Police Cars to stop these abuses, Now this is the first case and it took the newspaper to uncover this event. Where is the Police Supervision???????? Who is runnning this Department???? Where is the checks and balances on the Police?????? Just another example..... How many do the citizens of Schenectady deserve??????? Time to clean house....

Well at least we see an attempt to make the police department more efficient, more manageable and more accountable to we the Citizens of Schenectady who deserve and demand police at their assigned jobs, its outrageous to have miminal amount of police on a tour and in fact probally "criminal" How can we expect protection when they don't even show up because they know they will have permission from their supervisor, Lets see the new system work, denie requests and set a pattern, let the Union know they will no longer control staffing patterns, Its about time Bennett did "something" to indicate Management Control of this Organization. Lets see the Management not under the congtrol of the Union really send a message, Identify those Officers publically who don't want to show up for work.. A pattern will develop and the same names will continually show up.... At least its a start.....

How long does it take to do an investigation??????
Justice is considered swift and fair, but a Year at home and being paid, It is insulting to consider that these individuals were having a grand time at our expense, Its just ANOTHER example of the poor Management skills of the people involved, The Chief, and Bennett who has done a terrible job and continues to this day to show no management skills, Its time for a change...........

Heres my take on this: Gillibrand was elected because of the problems with Sweeney and she did a respectable job as a first term member, Treadwell was part of previous history and ran an campaign of minimal value.... Tedesco will recover the Republican Base because of his history in the district and he is a good candidate, so good in fact that the $$$$$$ from the National commmitee for their NEW and I mean unknown also candidate will not flow. They recognize it as a Republican district and the fact that the Democratic candidate can spend $$$$ of his own and is probally the only candidate who could and is the basis of why he was selected to this position. It makes the democratics look silly, after all the candidate is the only one with $$$$ who promised the committee chairs he would spend $$$$, so much for the best candidate getting the nod based on qualifications..... Who is this guy??? and when the voters cast the levers they will also wonder who he is..... No Tedesco is the best candidate......

Well it seems to me that the winner of this is Golup, After all in donating the land they have no tax liability, So saying it was for a government center has a nice ring to it, but in reality it was a mistake for the town to assume the property. After all anyone who knows the property is aware there are railroad tracks behind the property with no land to use at all, So having containimation only makes this property undeveloped for a LONG time...
