Lets stop feeling sorry for these irresponsible pet owners and be thankful a child wasn't attacked, wonder how Kathleen Moore would report on that story.

This story gets crazier by the day.Today the Gazette aka Kathleen Moore ran a lenghty story with a picture of a child hugging one of the dogs. When will the Gazette put as much effort in telling the story of the woman who had her dog attacked? How about telling the public the horror she must have experienced during the attack.Would the Gazette have taken the side of the dog owner if a child had been attacked? This world we live in has become dog crazy!

A huge issue here, which needs addressing, is the effect these corner stores have on the quality of life in the adjoining neighborhoods. Chubby's, on Crane Street, is right next to the Mt. Pleasant branch of the Schenectady County Public Library, a place where dozens of children visit every day. This is not a good situation at all and if for no other reason, should compel the city fathers to action in trying to get rid of the illegal activity surrounding the stores.

Where was the outcry from the city council member who resides on the Hill?Think anyone would have noticed if it was the Niskayuna or Rotterdam Branch?

Interesting story-you forgot to mention the good things Habitat for Humanity and BNI have been doing to fix up the neighborhood
