Once again, Michael Hochanadel is able to capture the essence in a few carefully crafted words. Well done. The best tribute I've seen, read, or heard since Pete Seeger died after Arlo Guthrie's poignant words, which Mr. Hochanadel quoted.

Thank you, Natalie, for this recipe. I've been trying various ones for Lemon Cake but not happy with any,including one I sent to Pete Seeger for his 90th birthday. This looks like a good one.

I enjoy your column very much.

While I like a real paper, I am also enjoying the on-line edition, which allowed me to print out the recipe for my 3 ring binder.
