The Fire Dept. did a great job.They even saved the pets!I truly appreciated them saving my neighbors children and I hope to not see another fire on the block again,that was the 3rd fire.I pray for the firemen saftey in the future. Hats off to the family too.It must be stressful for the familes of the firemen to worry every time that alarm goes off if they are going to make it back.Be strong,they are doing great things.My husbands' natural instinct had him ready to go in there and I am grateful the firemen arrived.I was extremely afraid because who knows what would of happened.So I can imagine the stress the familes feel every time. On another issue,anyone know if the family can get help with their pets? I have 2 of their dogs, 1 is pregnant and very moody.Are there any organizations that can help them with temporary shelter for dogs?I have been trying but 7 kids, 3 dogs, 2 birds,its pretty hectic.
This season Schenectady could of been on easy road to Times Union Center.They would of met up with Shen there and beat them like they did in Shen summer tournament.I'm sure the Schenectady coach is happy.He baited and got what he wanted.He don't know what "representing" is.

Wow,I can see that CHILDREN getting free sandwiches really bother you.I am proud to see my tax dollars feeding CHILDREN who are HUNGRY!!Most children these days are embarrassed to get a free meal so you know they have to be really hungry to stand in the rain.What do you rather they do, hook up with drug dealers to make money to eat or little girls sell themselves for a burger?That is the reality of it. Yes there are parents struggling and some are getting "over" as people think but I don't think a kid getting some free lunch classifies as anyone using the system. Kids have to eat and if they can't eat they go hungry until they decide to do something bad for the money. Parents too.People are losing their job left and right and I'm sure its plenty people who felt the same way until they got laid off and need some type of assistance. God forbid.Don't judge people because you do not know what happened to them to be in a situation like that. And back in the days milk was probably 5 cents and food was not as expensive as it it now and rent , mortgage and everything else.
Someone needs to come in Schenectady and see if everyone in certain positions are qualified and not hired because they know someone and got the "hook up"This was a man involved with kids on a day to day basis. What is going on with this town, can't send to kids with a piece of mind. I can't let my son go jogging at night for fear of the police might think he was up to something or get jumped.The streets are terrible with big potholes that are tearing up your car.How many others are there working with kids that shouldn't be?I mean everyone coming forward now but no one felt what he was doing wrong and didn't speak up. I am very sorry for making it seem like i was judging the friend.The paper stated the friend heard everything and it never mentioned anyone alerting police right away.I also was trying to make a point to the poster that anytime it took to get help would be helpful.I am very sorry for your lost.I appoligize if I offended anyone.God Bless and stay strong for each other.
