Reassessment does not work, just look or ask any Rotterdam resident. GAR did a reassessment in Rotterdam and at all the meetings in town hall we residents were told that our taxes would not go up, low and behold most all our taxes doubled , when I received my new tax bill it was double what I had paid the year before. Now Rotterdam is suing GAR . It is better that Schenectady does it on a one too one basis . GAR added close to a thousand feet of space in my home by only measuring the outside foundation and not coming into my home to see that my back door leads directly to my basement and is not a livable space and the only way they came back to my home was to have Greg Floyd come to my home and do a news piece on this , then and only then would GAR reduce my living space and lower my assessment. These two guys are. The best at the jewelry business helping me out design my own gold pieces--they are wholesome people who got cought up in a robbery they did not do, no they should not have lied that is if they did lie, I know I have trusted them 100 percent from the first day in business and will continue to do business with them , remember there are circumstances that the public does not know, take Joe Bruno he was incident the whole time(according to the jury) and these guys are innocent too. The whole country can not agree with N.Y.S. and its s.a.f.e. act --take Okalahoma for instance--their legislature has passed laws to succeed from this great nation, like the state of Texas has done, along with other southern states that are considering their stands in what this nation means to them are also considering leaving this United
States, divided into different territoris as it was over 150 years ago--along with these successions people of N.Y.S. will leave to join other independent states in this (un)United States of America and give up on this great state of dictatorship of N.Y.----

If you do not see this as helping a huge company as the Galesi Group increase its own coffers you are looking at this the wrong way--no body came to my aide when i needed money to keep my own bussiness open in the 1980,s, then why should anyone including our governenment help the rich get richer. This was not the plan form the begining when the city of Schenectady turned over the vacant building on Nott Street, that building was supposed to be used to build the new appatments not be torn down for new constuction and the state should have no part of this, also charge the owners the cost of the buidings that need to be being torn down (like Albany does), those vacant buildings are eye sores to this once great city, many of these buildings have been paid for by insurance companies and the owners do nothing but put the money into their pockets from the claim. the City of Schenectady was once known as the "City that Lit and Hauled the World" and now its the City of burned out buildings and at one time it was the City of Coceroches (there were T-Shirts being sold that read Welcome to the Coceroach City). Wake up Schenctady.

what the hell--why not add more eateries downtown besides jay street walking area there are really no retail stores downtown anymore--just restaurant after restaurant--only a few of them have been crtiqued and only a few are really making it big--as far as surprise inspections from the health inspector their seems to be none--i had dinner at More Perrecas last night on Jay St.and the dineing room floor was filthy with dirt everywhere--that kind of restaurant i do not need to visit again, food handling gloves were not being worn by any one in the kitchen area, (the trouble with an open kitchen is every body can see whats going on and what yiou are doing with the food). I am a retired Certified Chef Instuctor for the State of N.Y., with thirty seven years in the food industry and this city has never cared about the little folk who work their buts off trying to eek out a living selling their talents. As far as the Wandering Dago forget about their name and try their food--IT IS GREAT--when ever I see their truck parked somewhere I always eat at their spot--at one time in our history we had a pizza joint named The Mad Itailian on Altamont Ave. and he had a great business--too too much crtisims, do not be afriad of something you have not tried, you never know Schenectady this may be your chance to have a new calling card to downtown. Every ethinic group in the U.S.A. has been discrinimated against at on time or another. It is not just one ethnic group of people but all of us as a group of immigrants, when my grandfather came here from Italy he was discriminated against by the Irish while diging dithces in Hudson,N.Y.,the name of the food vendor should be no reason for suspending their stay at the track. I have called myself a stupid ginny when I have done something wrong, but when I am right I am the smartest person in the world. One time I knew a guy who owned the Mad Itailian a pizza business which did so well the name made him a million dollars and was able to retire before he was 40, whats wrong with this society let people do what they need to do to survive or make a living, I am on the side of the food truck--magical

I do not know why, seems like a bad excuse for a head on collision, my best boyhood freind just died a few weeks ago because the driver of the car said he did not know why he crossed the double line on route 29 that killed my buddy John Mackin who was just rideing on his motorcycle having a good time with his grandson, I think most drivers have an I.Q. of 20 and think they are the only ones on the road or are so drunk or druged up and think no one will ever be hurt by them driving and they cause families and friends to greive for such loss of life or serious injury to others who are doing nothing wrong but being on the road. Our Governor passed his own version of weapons control and has every pistol permit holder takeing a weapons training course every five years, why not retest those who hold a N.Y.S. Drivers license every five years, I will bet you most will not pass on their first try and their would be less killing by vehicle assualt. Magical

this is not the guy i knew, he always seamed to have more money than any one person could use and then boom the whole scheme that he was hideing up his sleave exploded. who knew that someone who owned so many properties and busineses would take and take and never give those their due. it is too bad,but he still has ownership in many properties and those should be sold off by court order and everyone would get their monies, check into it, just look at the realty records, this guy is not as broke as he says (five corners gun shop building)--magical

are you kidding me--none of you people have it right, give the father, mother, grandfather, grandmother of their dangerous children and grandchidreen who committ a crime with a weapon taken from those unlocked gun cabinents in their home the death penalty and make sure their is no delay in delivering the needle, doing so the stupid gun owners would make sure that their weapons are not accessable because they know that if their child gets ahold of their weapon they will be given the needle, all leagle citizens who are registered as responsible gun owners know that you lock your weapons in one place and lock the ammunition for these weapons in another location makeing it harder for these demented children to get a hold on a weapon, one thing i do agree with is why is it so important to own a semi-auto military syle weapon when a good old shotgun works just fine for anything you want to do, especially protecting your house from intrusion. all this mess over the demented minds of others. magical
