Growing your own vegetables gives you control and canning those vegetables is so muchhtastier than any thing store bought

As guns don't kill but bullets do, if this is important, I would hope for continued funding by a tax (or fee) on bullets. Mind you the state is not to be trusted with this money unless there is a lock box fund dedicated to this endeavor (Police body protection armor). As we have seen in the past, the state squandered the tobacco money on all sorts of stuff not related to tobacco because that money was not dedicated to the specific cause via lock box. Ask anyone where the tobacco funds went and the only answer you will get is: It went into the General Fund. (aka the black hole).

Several people I know that live in the city of Schenectady said they would move out if the casino came in, especially if the City crammed it down their throats without a referendum vote of approval or not from the citizens. At this juncture city hall and the legislators have stars in their eyes and are blind to voters views.

This is such an excellent idea (or mandate) and would cost nearly nothing and can be done in conjunction with gym or health classes. Save one person and your personal reward is immeasurable. I am a 1st responder where I work and 2-1/2 years ago I got that call that a fellow worker was down and my CPR skills were brought into full use. Clearly a couple minutes passed before the AED was available and in the mean time I got 120 compressions in before the AED shocked the individual into a rhythm and he began breathing. Retired now and having and enjoying his wife and grandchildren. After 36 years with the company, I would consider that was my greatest achievement.

Is gaming somehow the substitute for the word gambling? Maybe if we use Tooting instead of Prostitution, it would be acceptable too. Anything for a buck, forget about the consequences. Which vice is worse or at they equally degrading? The one that takes advantage of both men and women or one that just takes advantage of women.

I hope the Tesla car company will be able to direct sell to consumers. Some states are banning direct sales in the effort to support corporate welfare (aka dealership show rooms) and that would be akin to banning the internet and amazon as they don't have a brick and mortar facility in one's state. The internet/amazon model is a rousing success as one does not have to go through the burdensome bargaining process for buying a car. One can shop at their leisure from their home pc and possibly allow for auction bid to get the lowest price. There is nothing worse than going through the showroom that process when it isn't necessary in this modern age of the internet!

If anything, I would hope the town has a sign ordinance and gets a fee for every sign left up or at least a deposit to ensure the signs get taken down in a timely manner. Nothing worse in a towns image than ratty old signs and stickers all over the place. Kind of a freedom of speech legal graffiti.

Don't you wish civil servant retirements were like the military. You need an honorable discharge to receive your pension and VA benefits. Not a golden handshake to bail after doing something despicable. The big loser is the Schenectady city taxpayer who has to fund the ridiculous retirement system the police and fire fighters have.

It is a cheap money maker. I'd love to have the same thing at the stop sign at my corner to especially catch all the people that blow by without even looking.

If they make their doughnuts in their own stores verses at a mega bakery and have them shipped in as their competitors seem to be doing, they may have a market in the region.
