These people should NOT get one dime of a salary until this mess is corrected. Once again, tax payer money being wasted. I can't imagine being able to come to work and do nothing but argue with my co-workers. They should all be embarrassed and then they should all be fired. NYS gov't is a joke!

HARDLY... you must have missed the news coverage of the "hockey house" incident a year or two back. That was all Shen students. Their mug shots of the 16-18 year olds were all over the news. This is underage drinking and skipping school. Not gang violence. Big difference.
Priests used to be able to be married. Being a priest was a privilege only the wealthy experienced. But when they died the money went to their family. The Catholic Church wanted the money to be left to them. That's why they can't be married. Grease the palms of the Catholic Church and they will change the interpretation of the Bible for you. In 500 years people will believe Scientology is true also..... can't wait to read the responses.

Its everyone's fault. Parents, teachers, friends, enemies, TV shows, news, the internet. ALL SOCIETY is to blame. This world is selfish and unkind. No one thinks about other people. Its all about "me". This world breeds hate and violence. These girls don't stand a chance. Very few people are born mean. Its something that's learned. Everyone needs to take a lesson from all of this. Stop blaming and start helping. Keep your mouth shut unless its to help. If everyone spent as much time trying to fix the situation as they do trying to blame and retaliate maybe some of these girls could have been helped. Maybe the next one could be helped before she becomes the next one.
To earthwarrior54. I think you missed the point Mr. Restifo was making. I don't think he was talking about volunteer work. I would say it's about the good benefits and pay state employees get. I am sure there are plenty of good people that work for the state. That's not the point. It is annoying to see someone complain about a good job. I would never complain about a job where I make over 70k a year plus benefits. Ms. Poulton should be thankful she has a good job...especially in this economy!
