Give the building to Union College. They already own that part of the city. Perhaps the jobs they can bring in by having a business incubator or offices will change that corner. More low rent apartments won't. The county walked away from it so there is no tax loss at this point.
We don't need to take money from low income working people and give it to a big developer!
We really need Roger Hull and Neal Golub to run the city; not the tax and spend Liberals we have now!!!!

There is a surplus of rental units in Schenectady. Now the city wants to compete with the existing housing stock by adding more units.
Take funds from other tax payers and give them to Galesi Group, (an out of town developer). The Mayor and city council should join the Malta Library group; resign en mass!

Schenectady has one of the highest tax rates in the entire country. The city has numerous overlapping services with all the towns, villages, multiple schools that represent the teachers rather than the tax payers. Total chaos. Fall behind on the shy high taxes for 2 years and the city owns your property.
It is impossible to sell a reasonably priced home because the schools suck, taxes are sky high and crime is reportedly out of control.
o all the people who keep voting in these politicians; thanks for giving in to the unions and the greed.
Your home may be the next one the city seizes and gives away to some special interest group.

Who is on the board at SEDC, how did they get there and how can they be replaced? Time for new leadership anytime one of these public agencies become answerable only to them selves!

Gays want male companionship-pure and simple. Too many gays are attracted to groups such as boy scouts because there is a dominance of male attendance. Gay men should volunteer their time to the girl scouts or other non male dominated group. No issue-no problem!

The city started its rapid decent down hill when parking meters were installed and vigorously enforced. Prior to the meters; people actually came down town to shop. It all started under Mayor Karen Johnson when she decided to narrow state street and limit parking.
This is absurd. The city is competing with malls for business, sales tax receipts and people walking the streets looking into shops. They don't charge to park in their lots.
Remember all this next election time. Don't vote for the wrong people again!

Shut up and just pay your taxes; this is New York State! Be happy the tolls are not $1 per mile or more. Them roads don't come free you know.
And my cousin Vinney is on the list for supervisor; finished 9th grade he did.

Fritzdawg: I checked the 'Rev' background and could find no formal training in anything. I guess I will just ordain myself a 'rev' and take the entitlements there of. Not bashing her opinion. If she wants to come cross with a professional title; she has to prove the validity.
