Good review. We could not quite figure out the final letter to the family in Japan..apparently he made up a story to make them feel better?
We were looking for one final mystery...did not see that.

I agree with your post and the comment. It is very hard work! Having tried to keep a garden going for two years in a row, with not much to show for it except a few beets, green beans and tomatoes, I have great respect for the people who grow our food.
A local organic farm where you buy in, as mentioned above, is a great idea.

We just saw The Artist. Go see it. You will appreciate the artform of the silent movies. This one will probably win the Oscar this year...although Midnight in Paris is also a strong contender.

I used to live at 900 Union St....back in the 50's before they changed it to 1000 Union St.
Whenever we visit the old hometown we drive by the old 900 to see how things have changed.
