They could have placed a baited bear trap at the base of the tree it is in, waited for it to come down on it's own, get caught, and then relocated. The government is relentless in it's efforts to take guns away from citizens, this is an example of why there are too many guns in the hands of government officials.

Too bad that locomotives aren't still being made there, think of all the jobs.

Perhaps part of the solid concrete wall could be replaced with iron railing, where the view is most scenic.

I live in Massachusetts, used to live in Schenectady. I was at the super market the other day and the woman in front of me bought $284.00 of mostly junk food (a lot of high sugar drinks) with her Mass EBIT card (food stamps). Food stamps should be used for nutritional food not junk food. There should be an allowance for toilet paper, tooth paste, soap, etc.

There must be a better way to handle situations like this. The deceased did not fire one round, yet had about 15 directed at him. Obviously it was a very stressful situation for all involved. Perhaps some day there will be non lethal ways in which police officers can gain control of a very out of control situation.

MN how can you compare a baby to your lunch? Your #1 priority should be the child period.

Why is the Federal government (tax payers) paying for home owners to repair or replace their homes? If you live in a flood zone, you should have flood insurance. Borrow more money from China and let our children, grand children, and great grand children pay for it. What a raw deal they are getting. Wake up tax payers.

Love it or leave it ed186? The park has changed over the years. If you "know someone", you can do whatever you want. People need to be able to make a living. The park should not become larger then it already is Privately owned land should not become public, we all should however respect the land.

The French have been processing waste for years. We are not allowed to process spent fuel rods in the US. Doing so would create more usable fuel as well as reducing the amount of waste in storage.
