Whenever you want to know if he is at an event, look for the camera and you'll find him if he's there......

The next thing that has to be imposed on county governments is a restriction on the amount of fund balance that can be used to comply with the tax cap. Fund balances belong to the taxpayers through either over taxation or prudent spending (yeah right) and as such should not be allowed for use as an open checkbook.

For what these athletes give up to practice and practice and practice for our country, I would think a tax exemption on their medals and prize money should be a "given". The endorsement incomes that will follow, should be taxed.

Hold a fishing contest, with a nominal award for catching one or both. Maybe a new rod & reel? It would keep a bunch of kids busy, if nothing else.

What's the big deal? This guy should file the paperwork that the Town requires, as long as he has nothing to hide, and be done with it. The permitting process could/would protect the Town from any possible lawsuits.

And just how, except with some known persons, are the police supposed to know if they are dealing with a mentally ill person, or just someone bent on having a confrontation with the law? The police have every right to protect themselves and others in situations where the "bad guy's" mental state is unknown.
