And those are some of the reasons why I thought Putnam's book was a little over-rated.

Just wait until next year if we go the next step and don't wrap any of the presents under the tree and try to figure out whose gift goes with whom.

I DID work for dining services in college. I was one of the last people to sign up and supposedly got stuck with the short end of the dining services stick and ended up with the food prep shifts. However, making mexican egg rolls, chopping onions and watching Jerry Springer with the head cook always seemed quite a good way to get through work-study.

I wasn't sure how you were going to work Julie and Mark's wedding into your blog, but you did! Nice!
Also, something worse than "White Wedding" may be having the maid of honor serenade it to the bride at the reception. I wasn't there, but I saw pictures and it wasn't pretty.

Mad Men just gets better and better. I just ran through season 1 and would be watching season 2 if those Olympics weren't on. See, TV can be as good as the movies. Especially when those movies include Wanted.

I am in love with the Olympics, too! And Bob Costas.
