Games are the BEST program offered by the State. Nothing to compare. In a day where money is an issue, consider these facts: Games cost $2M to put on. Summer Games have economic impact of $10-$15M on local economy. Take the $10M and multiply it by the 4% state sales tax and the State gets back $400,000 Directly on top of the local impact!!! Is this a no brainer or WHAT??? Winter Games bring in $2M to Lake Placid--add this to the Summer (above)--yet another $80,000 directly to the State!! Worried about obesity?? What better way to keep kids and adults going than this?? Senior Games CANCELLED??? WHY?? Open and Masters CANCELLED--WHY?? Charge to play?? WHY??? Discrimination on lower level income once again--as well as older tax payers!! Add this to one of those--Dont make any sense items!!!! AMAZING!!!!!
