About 400 elementary- and middle-school students taking part in the Shenendehowa Inventors program will display their inventions at the former Cotton Market store at Clifton Park Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Last night I went to bed and had dreams I was doing synchronized diving. I went lucid for one of the first times in my life. It was amazing. I wasn't afraid of heights or anything. My partner and I were perfect, though I don't remember how we placed. Then, a few minutes later, I was one of the gymnasts doing triple back flips and all sorts of contortions. While I can do these contortions in my waking life, doing them before a crowd of millions made me feel totally amped. I am a sleeping Olympian. I wish the Olympics never ended.
Jeff...This world definitely needs more people like you in it. I don't know about merits and demerits either, but I do remember something my mother always told me as I was growing up that I still put into action today. "The person you help today may, in fact, be God disguised as one of us." She strongly believes God tests us from time to time, and, I guess that's how I view things, too, now. I don't for a second think good deeds go unrewarded, because, if nothing else, they sure do make me feel good about myself. And, like you said, that is a great reward, indeed.
I think this is a perfectly legitimate question. So do the more than 230 voters who have taken part in the poll. Not everybody goes to the track, and for the people who do go, not everybody bets. It's always the same three or four people who take issue with these questions each week, and yet you all keep coming back.
Schdygirl: These are polls. One need not have anything to do with another. This is a timely poll, and from the many votes already cast, obviously people care about the topic.
How would you all feel if you were genetecially predisposed to being gay -- yes, it is genetic -- and society shunned you around every corner? This is an unthinkable way to treat and speak about people. God loves everyone, and everyone in this world really needs to stop the hatred and get of their proverbial soap boxes. As I read through these posts, I am shocked at the horrible things people are saying and how they are expressing hatred. That is what is sinful.

I am totally, 100 percent hooked.
