People move to Niskayuna for the first rate school system. Do not over tax our teachers by combining classes. This is not fair to the children or the teachers who have enough trouble teaching the curriculum to our kids. One solution would be to outsource the non essential services to private companies and stop paying costly benefits to cleaning, maintenence staff. We would be supporting small business in NY and then the district and taxpayers would not be responsible for paying for their costly insurance and retirement for life.

I don't know what's wrong with some people. If Price Chopper redirected people to their web site . . .
Just because Price Chopper has grown into the areas largest supermarket chain doesn't mean that they should accept devious and unlawful business practices from competing markets.

This is the problem with unionized contracts. Break the fire/police unions the biggest drain on the budget. Privatize the fire department or get a volunteer department like the burbs. Consolidate the Police deaprtment under a countywide system.
Taxpayers/Homeowners in the city are paying for all of this.
