Move to Canada or Europe, see how you like their Single Payer health insurance. And by the way, you cannot go to any doctor you want to under Medicare. Some doctors don't accept it because it doesn't pay enough to keep them in business and more and more are joining that group. Most older people work because they can't afford to retire, it has little to do with health insurance. It also appears the green party believes old people are useless. You too will some day be old or maybe by that time euthanasia for old people will be the law.

Well it isn't like the gun enthusiasts were trying to destroy the landscape, unlike the occupy Albany folks who staked their tents out throughout the winter months and had to be told to pick up their trash. Who paid to fix that mess? And I am sure there was no damage when the thousands of union members were bussed in from all over hell's creation. We didn't hear about that either, did we?

John, a seven bullet clip is not standard. Most guns that are sold with clips come with a 10 round clip. Seven round clips are not and won't be manufactured. Cuomo has agreed to allow the buying of the standard 10 round clip however, you are not allowed to put more than 7 bullets in that clip unless you are at an authorized firing range or in competition. It is a crime to have a clip in your house with more than 7 rounds in it. Makes sense doesn't it? In other words, if I am in my house and the house is being burglarized by a criminal and if he is carrying a weapon with 10 bullets in his clip and starts shooting at me, I am three bullets short. Unless of course he is a nice criminal and is following the law.

Looks like we will have to wait until the budget passes before we find out how to re-apply.

Here is a Governor who rushes a gun control bill to supposedly protect the children and then wants a law to kill children. Does anyone else see something wrong with this picture?

It says you will get a credit on your bill within 90 days. I would think you will need to have previouse invoices or ask them to look into their archives if you are not a current subscriber.

Two more years of sit and wait. Jobs waiting to be had. This is not about factual evidence, this about bowing to pressure from the liberal environmentalists who still want to push their "green energy" agenda of wind turbines and solar panels, both of which have been proven to be highly expensive and not very effective in lowering our dependence on foreign oil. It has already been proven that mistakes of the past with fracking have been addressed and with proper regulatory oversight, fracking is safe and is non-polluting. Why didn’t they do the same careful studying about the cause of gun violence? They didn’t seem to have any trouble stomping on the 2nd amendment in a very short period of time without the public’s input.

wmarincic - the Saratoga paper reads "Alicia was pronounced dead at the scene, while Marian was transported to Albany Medical Center where she was listed in serious condition on Saturday. Neither Alicia nor Marian were wearing seat-belts. The driver, Marian, was arrested for driving while intoxicated." Maybe instead of going after the paper and those that are reading it, you should call the State Police and straighten them out.

"His NY Rising book, released in conjunction with the speech, outlines a package of proposals aimed at making state government more transparent." More transparent, Really? Cuomo just pushed through new gun laws, behind closed doors, not allowing the mandated 3 day look-over of the bill, or asking the citizens of the State what they thought. He used the blatantly false claim that it was for necessity. He wouldn’t know transparency if it bit him in the leg.
