Saratoga County taxes may be the lowest around, and maybe this is the first tax increase since 2002, but how many other counties have Saratoga Race Track, A Casino, a Chip Factory (or is that costing tax payers?), malls, and many other large businesses contributing to the tax base. It always comes back to "SPENDING".
I agree that asking the elderly and retiree's to contribute more is not the correct way, but that is not where the big dollars are being spent either;look elsewhere.

Very nice article Ed. Good to see someone is supporting the outdoorsmen. It would be nice to see the youth of America get more involved in hunting/outdoors, and not spend so much time on the PC. It would be great for my heart to see the younger generation hunting and sharing stories about the game that got away, with some elder relative or friends.

It sounds like Northville conceded on many fronts. Looks like it is time for the State to pay it's taxes. What would the State do if a resident didn't pay up?????
