Hopefully, the republicans can hold onto at least one house in Congress. We don't need another fiscal mess like we got when Obama had both houses; OBAMACARE. It is going to bankrupt the country.

Stewarts has good marketing, planning, and logistics, but this lawsuit will prove that they haven"t a clue as to how to treat employees. Just ask my wife who once worked for that company. Yes they have an ESOP plan but a very small percentage stay there long enough to be eligible for it. Even in the worst economic conditions Stewarts is hiring. Why? Because few can put up with their treatment and they don't stay.

It is this time of year when marijuana that is grown in fields is ready for harvest, so it would be normal for law enforcement to look for it now when it is big enough to see from aircraft. I am sure they are putting effort into heroin and other controlled substances every day.

Even before these recent revelations about Donald Trump, many republican leaders were not giving him much support. This mainly because he was not a career politician and not an insider member of the old boys club in the republican party. The everyday voter was looking to get rid of the same old same old. That would seem to be the reason why he won the nomination. Both candidates have indicated the other is not fit to run this country. Unfortunately, they are both correct.

The last election I participated in was in 1979, and will not be involved with this one either. 5.8 million are democrats in NY. the dems hold better than a 2-1 majority in enrollment. This would mean that 3 million are either enrolled in a smaller party or are independent. Those 3 million will probably split the vote somewhere in the middle. Hillary will get all 29 electoral votes seeing it is winner take all. Many are dissapointed with the 2 choices. I say if you are a democrat, write in "Minnie Mouse" If you are a republican, write in "Donald Duck" if you are not enrolled in either of the 2 major parties, write in any other cartoon character such as "Bugs Bunny", "Mighty Mouse" "Mickey Mouse', "Gumby" or others. This would make your dissatisfaction known better than leaving it blank. The only real race I see is the NY-19 Congressional race between Zephyr Teachout and John Faso. I do not live in that district.

I am not a fan of of Gov. Cuomo, but I do think it is premature to ask him to quit at this time. As more is learned there will be a time and place to decide whether or not he should continue.

Diane Burman is one of 4 commissioners on the public service commission. I heard her comments on the webcast last week. She seemed more interested in criticizing Neustar (NANPA) than the business at hand. I believe that she wanted to call in Neustar and confront them. I am not sure, but I believe Neustar is accountable to the FCC, not the PSC. Normally about 15 to 20 central office codes are handed out a year, since the begining of 2016, 27 have been handed out. It would seem to me that this surge will probably drop off.It may already have. Right now, there are 29 central codes available, they will probably last in a 13 month cutover plan.
