Maybe it would be a good idea, if possible, to have the Sheriff boat patrol out on a daily basis in the summer. They might have spotted the overloaded boat and prevented the accident.

The County is famous for stonewalling. Lets see, they don't play well with the supervisor, the comptroller got the boot in Schenectady, and it is no surprise that a lawsuit gets filed against the town.

The town has every right to any and all information pertaining to their share of the bill. Also, the last time I looked, the County Legislature is running the business of the county, not the manager and a political law department.
