Does not make sense. Boats that size don't simply "go over" each other. Underscores the need for boat training before operation.
On many lakes, boaters don't even abide by simple rules for overtaking another boat, or which side oncoming boats should be on. They don't respond like cars.
Stop looking for stray weeds on my trailer and get the uneducated boaters off the lake.

Put enough money behind it an watch the Schenectady democrats fill it. I'm sure one of the legislatures family or someone who cant even spell Schenectady will fill it.

5000 gallons of waste get dumped into the lake, and you don't think it is a factor? Sea gull or duck poop, really?
I would put money that it is sewage from a private residence dumping into the lake, coupled with the 5000 gallon plus dump.
Years ago, Browns Beach was packed all the time, food was always there, and I would bet birds are not a new phenomenon in the area either. I don't remember the beach closing then.
Find the source. You know one is the 5000 gallon waste dump. The other has to be down there by the beach end.

Ok, if the real problem is the use of fireworks that are illegal anyway, why is it that while all the blasts are going off we see no police? How many citations? Any?
Rotterdam is like a Iraqi battle field some nights.

That is because the board of directors is nothing more than an ineffectual arm of the County Democrats.
They don't blow their nose without marching orders from 620 State Street.

Wow, you can pay to look at fish, but shop? No anchors (Kmart sucks), and not one good reason to go there.
Bet it is for sale within 2 years!

The County pays the SCCC president $170,000 for a small community college with a fraction of the responsibilities and staff as the public schools in Schenectady.
Why no comment or outrage over that? Comparatively, the city is getting a bargain.
