grant18 : I'm curious, do also check and point out the editing on all of the local sites, ie; TU, Saratogian etc., or do you reserve your nit picking for the Gazette exclusively?

"Buffardi said the pool enforcement is just one of many codes the town is now working to address. He said town codes have been largely ignored for years, which is why some are shocked when the code enforcer does hand out a notice.
“The lack of enforcement has been rather obvious by people’s lack of compliance,” he said."
Well since the town is now working to address parts of the town code that have been largely ignored, I do hope they address the town code that states political campaign signs are not to be displayed on government property.....that's a part of the town code that is ignored by town politicians.....

safny: And just exactly who would be paying for this study you speak of? Why not ask the owner of the Mariaville store, or the owners of Mike's Hot Dog's (who set up shop on the festival grounds) how they made out?

Bad reporting and info on all fronts, as he did not die of a drug overdose:
As reported in the TU today, btw they also said he died of a drug overdose in a previous report:
"Brent Wallace, 40, died of cardiac stenosis, a thickening of an artery to the heart, his father, David Wallace, said Wednesday."
"This is very upsetting," his father said. "We've got everybody looking around, saying he died of a drug overdose which is completely incorrect."
Brent Wallace's blood alcohol level was .05, below the legal level signifying intoxication, his father said.
"There was a very small trace of marijuana in his system, no more than one drag on a marijuana joint," he said."

guitarpsych: ditto.........and to add to that, everyone's complaining about the Democratic control of the county, city, etc. but no one's stepping up (Republicans) to oppose them........so people can complain all the want, but if no one is going to become the opposition, then I can only assume that the majority of voters are content with the way things are......the vocal minority (Zollites) should shut up and start forming a viable alternative instead of running their mouths all the time....either that or cut their losses, sell out and move to "greener pastures".......
