He was probably looking to get support from the Law Enforcement Community. I wonder if he asked them to sign his petition.

I don't remember the Yankees Triple A team....Oh wait, the Yankees didn't have a Triple A team in our area. I do remember the Yankees Double A team (the Albany Colonie Yankees) that played in Colonie though. That was a team that had among others, Bernie Williams, Derek Jeter and some guy named "Mo" play for them at one time or another.
The Valley Cats have had awful teams that filled their ballpark also.

I had to come back here and make another comment just because this is so upsetting me. It's garbage like this that drives people away from wanting to participate in government. I've seen some pretty wasteful spending over my years, but this is just downright obscene.

I'm sorry, but are you nuts!!!! a million dollars for a mural? On a bridge? What the heck is wrong with these people!!! I saw some merit in the bridge, but a stupid painting? On a bridge?? Who's bright idea was this anyway?

Does the Gazette have a drug testing policy for their employees? Could this be the reason he didn't want to be searched and then resisted? I too think the editorial is way off base and slanted. I'm a little disappointed in the Gazette right now to be honest.

I thought it odd as well. Although I have to admit I was unfamiliar with the reviewers name, and don't recall seeing that particular byline in any other previous reviews in the Gazette. I don't know that I would go so far as to call it censorship, but it was strange.

I love baseball. I hate what it's become. It's become unwatchable on the TV and un-listenable on the radio. So I don't use either as a means of following my favorite sport any longer. I blame Curt Flood.
