Hey Ken,
Can you once a month or so list the division 3 Hockey Poll? There are a lot of alumni of Plattsburgh, Oswego, Potsdam and R.I.T. in the area and it would be nice to be able to follow how the teams are ranked. I would bet that if those four teams played R.P.I. and Union this year the division 3 teams would win the majority of the time.
Thanks.

The federal government pays out lots of money to people and organizations that don’t' play by the rules. Just look at the bailout of the financial institutions earlier this year. You can even point to the money given to the 911 families as a payoff for not filing suits against the airlines. Remember it was the airlines that resisted increased security at airports. The majority of the money will go to people who need it, will a few benefit who probably shouldn't, yes but no plan is foolproof. After 8 years of corruption and incompetence I would rather see individuals be able to get a few bucks from the government rather then big corporations like Raytheon and Halliburton ripping us off for millions.

The real question should be why does a church need an armed guard? Who do these Christians pray to and what do they pray for that requires armed protection.

Hay Vaflagger and coachmike, there is no requirement for god to be part of a marriage. Marriages are performed by Mayors and Judges and many others. The state issues a license just as it does for hunting and fishing. If you want to exclude people from being married in your church you can but don't deny others the ability to marry and share a life together. If you want to live in a country that bases all its laws on religious beliefs then move to Iran, I am sure they will be as tolerant of your views as you are of others here. Our founding fathers, most of whom and Ben Franklin in particular were not strongly religious, insisted on the establishment clause in the constitution so that laws would not be passed with religious intent along with the government establishing a national religion or preventing religious practices.
Live your life the best you can and let others do the same if god makes the final judgment fine, let her do it and we will all have to be responsible for our own actions and statements.

The question that should be asked is why does a community college have a music program in the first place? This should not be a priority for this type of institution. I am sure the money spent on the music program could be better spent in other areas. I never heard of the program before this all blew up and now I wish I never had.
