Yeah, I think about this a lot ... probably more than is healthy. So this list is subject to change on a weekly basis, but for the most part I think it's pretty accurate.

Mindy - wish I had thought of that. Haven't played much with those cameras, but I'd like to start doing that with some of the local artists I cover in the Live in the Clubs package.

Judging from the show and what I've heard, I'd say that personally, I enjoy their older material the most. It seems to have more of a "punk" edge to it. But as I said above, I don't believe that there is anything inherently wrong with being mainstream. And The Academy Is ... certainly knows how to write strong, catchy pop tunes that will stick in your head, especially on the group's most recent album and singles.
