There is a Double Standard when it comes to Women and sex abuse charges. If this were a Man he would have already been charged and forced to prove his own innocence. I am not saying that it is ok for men or women to molest children, i am saying that they should all be treated equally...Save A Child Hang A Pedophile!!!!!!

Government should be transparent. Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing. The rule of law is a legal maxim which provides that no person is above the law. The rule of law stands in contrast to the idea that the Police are above the law - a feature of Roman Law and Nazi law.

I agree RKrough, the other newspapers were trying to put the blame on chad. This guy makes a living arresting people for DWI and making sure that they don't drive again, and than ends up drinking and Driving and running a guy over that is trying to stay out of trouble by walking home. I believe we could all say that this is a bit Ironic and a lot Hypocritical. I commend the Gazette for this in depth report. What i would like to know is how long after the accident did they administer the Breathalyzer?

If this were Four White men that have assaulted a Black or Hispanic man they would not have gotten off so easily. Disorderly conduct for punching and kicking a man, and chanting racial slurs while doing it!!!!!!!

All this can be diverted if the Governor would pay the taxes owed by the Hudson River Authority. We do not need any more Tax increase, program cuts or layoffs caused by our own States inadequacies. Our children deserve a proper education, just like he had as a child.

Once again just to prove to the public that police are not prosecuted to the same extent as you and I. If the D.A. wanted, he could use the testimony of the Arresting Officers and the Letter stating that she feels that he is sorry and the Arrest report. Since when does a victim get to chose who gets prosecuted?

What about a NewsPaper that wont let you comment on the subject of police getting preferential treatment.
