Sorry, that corner is saturated with grocery options: Walmart isn't going to be cheap enough to draw the customers .. it won't offer the variety/volume that the bigger stores do .. Walmart neighborhood markets often have HIGHER prices than a Walmart superstore .. so you may THINK (expect) prices will be cheaper because it's Walmart, but they won't be. You'll see. If you LIKE giving the Walton family your business rather than the Golubs or the Shop (& Price) Rites, then enjoy!

Why did Gary offer Waterfield a $9,000 raise, higher than Troy's assessor earns, when his candidate wasn't certified? was close to retirement age? was Gary ALSO going to pay Waterfield while ON the job to study for and pass the the assessor's exam? just in time to retire? How egregiously conspicuous was this poor judgement decision? HOORAY! for the council to stand up and push back! Btw, forgiveness or amelioration of fines and penalties SHOULD be considered, esp. when the subject property has been grossly overvalued for YEARS & years! which is driving away city residents (aka taxpayers).

NO WONDER!
