It would be nice for the City to pave the west side of Jay St between Union and Liberty . Its way overdo A main corridor from Little Italy to the heart of downtown ,across from the post office and City Hall both on the national register of historic places. All the other nearby sidewalks are paved This area really looks bad.

I had the pleasure of knowing John & Sally for many years and they thrived in Schenectady. They were really nice people and I wish their family all the very best . Paul Tocker

Infrastructue in the form of curbs, sidewalkes and Victorian lighting on the west side of Jay St from Union to Liberty St needs to be taken care of first before the sidewalks and curbs are installed on lower State.

This block is across the street from Little Italy on North Jay where new curbs, sidewalks and lights were installed years ago . People walk across Union street and find deteriorated curbs and sidewaks right across the street from the Post Office and down the block from City Hall, both on the National Historic Register.Jay St is a significant corridor leading from Union College, the Gollub Corp and Little Italy to the Post office,City Hall, Proctors and the very heart of downtown.
They even did new curbs and sidewalks on Liberty St west of Jay to Broadway and beyond .

In fact most of the downtown area aroud City Hall and the Post office have the Victorian Lights in addition to the sidewalks and curbs.

Isn't it time to do the Jay St. Victorian lights, curbs and sidewalks from Union to Liberty?
