Gay marriage SHOULD be legalized for two reasons. One reason is because for all citizens of this country to have the same freedoms under the laws that we all abide by we as a people have to legalize gay marriage. The founding fathers of this nation were men of God yes, BUT the church ruled England and thats why there had to be a separation of church and state.We cannot tell people where to go to church, we cannot tell people to abide by church rules, and all people should never have to abide by another persons belief if its not their own. Second, I am a Christian, I do not judge homosexuals and do not believe that they are bad people. I believe God loves them as his children. All Christians know and believe that free agency is a huge part of our life on earth. That we must choose good from evil , to have a choice. By voting to allow homosexuals to marry doesn't mean you are agreeing with it , you are just giving them their free agency, their freedom to choose, and if they choose to get married or not its their fault after that not yours. That is a very important life lesson for all humanity. We cannot continue to pry into others lives and tell them what they are doing is wrong and then support laws to make it so they cannot even have their free agency to choose right from wrong.Love people and open your minds...this is coming from a Hetero Christian.
