At the same time, there's actually a family who would let a priest get at their children in this day and age? Have they not heard the news since 2002? Didn't they get the memo? There's plenty of negligence to go around in this case.
This one gets the prize for craziest on-going Catholic pedophile story. I thought it was the Philipino priest who molested his own triplets. And then it became the priest in Watkins Glen who needed eye drops from little boys every Friday and Saturday night. And very much in the running is the Fordham crowd. But Schenectady gets today's award for:
WORST CATHOLIC PRIEST IN THE WORLD.
Why??? Why are all of the above stories taking place in New York State? How embarrassing has that supposedly progressive state become? I used to proudly say I grew up in New York, but it's overrun with hillbillies now so I keep my background to myself.
Do we have to read about these stories every single day? Every day at least 20 priests across the country are arrested, arraigned, accused, defrocked, and let loose among the public. This guy raped in the '80's and Howard Hubbard let him loose in August? Good call, Hubbard! 20 years too late, but that's like a New York minute in Catholic Church time. When is it time for Howard Hubbard's arraignment?
Hip hip hooray for Upstate New York. They won't have John Aretakis to stand in the way of their child-molesting, 10-year-old altar boy-busting priests. Bring on the little boys and everyone in Schenectady can join the party.
This is barely a story. First you brainwash the people into needing their church so bad, then you have to try to unbrainwash them in order to close their churches and schools.
This is hilarious. You can't be serious. There are still families who give their children to Catholic priests? At some point, we have to consider the negligence of the parents.
