Janice, you have a screwed up sense of responsibility,, you omitted taking responsibility for one's own sexual behavior. If people had and were taught to have aex responsibly, the abortion issue would ne near moot.Sure, every child can most certainly be an A student, if they take responsibility for their education, it is irresponsible to set the bar so low that it drags everyone down. The children lagging need support and direction, not being kept below a certain level.

Better idea, Beryl, is to stop patronizing horse racing. More horses are bred in the hopes of producing one champion. Those that don't make it are slaughtered.

Smoking should be banned in all public places, not just parks. This is especially true of the entrances to public places. Smokers have no idea regarding how much their dirty habit inflicts itself on others.

If guns kill people, then spoons must make people fat. If the NRA should pay for victims, then Lil' Debbie's pay for gastric bypass?

Just what we need, more idiots promoting animal cruelty. A New York Times study concluded that 24 horses per week die on racetracks in the US.The horseracing industry to dry up and go the way of the dinosaur.

Ok, using this logic, one way to prevent obesity is to outlaw spoons? More spoon control will solve the obesity epedemic in this country. Before purchasing a spoon, buyers should be required to take a class on nutrition. A pre-screen for eating disorders is also called for. Establish a spoon registry to weed out suspected over eaters. Better yet, outlaw spoons!

I supposed if Mr. Vohr believes guns kill people, he must also believe that it's the pencil that makes the spelling mistake.

Strock, you didn't have to go to Atlantic City to witness that. All you needed to do was check out some local OTB's.

Dixon, who appointed you God of the investigation? Just because the cops didn't canvass for witnesses in the time frame YOU thought they should doesn't mean they aren't doing their job. And you have no idea how arrogant your behavior was. You didn't know what information the cops already had or didn't have. Maybe they didn't need your statement at that moment. I agree that the Schenectady Police Dept. is in need of improvement, but this sounds like a bunch of know-it-alls who thought they needed to tell the police how to do their job. It doesn't seem to occur to them that thier interference could have threatened the whole operation. Get out of the way and let the police do their job!
