Being a resident of Niskayuna I'm delighted that Colonie and Clifton Park may finally pay their fair share instead of Niskayuna residents subsidizing them. It has long been a Realtor's selling point in some neighborhoods that you could send your kids to Niskayuna schools but pay substantially less than Niskayuna taxes.

I know a couple of people involved in OWS. While I think their efforts are misdirected and often counter-productive to their cause. I can assure you they both are 100% pro-American and one of them have the wound scars to back it up.

So with that fiasco out of the way, how about using some of that $100K to fix up the boat ramp at Lock 7 and put in a crosswalk and connector path to the bike trail at Edison and River Rd ?

I agree the reactor facilty is an eyesore. But for McCarthy to threaten RPI with "drive up their cost of doing business here.” was totally uncalled for. He should be run out of town on a rail.
