Nobody knows of the actual situation to make any type of comment. CPS is NOT always right nor is our corrupted Schenectady Police Department. This is society's problem, making judgement without all the facts.

I am praying for full healing of all her injuries, physical and emotional. I also hope that the man responsible for this DOES get the death penalty.

Then people wonder why kids in Schenectady need so much "extra help". I believe it is due to the teachers having such a big class size and not being able to properly assist each child needs. One teacher can not possibly help 25 kindergarten students who are just starting there learning. I have witnessed this first hand. This situation also always kids who actually need help slip through the cracks. I am really ashamed of Schenectady. We pay higher taxes than Niskayuna and they have a better school system, including their own bussing.

Not all females who have children at a young age turn out the way some of you ignorant people have described. Having a child at any age is a CHOICE. Maybe if there were more support for these "children having children" then the outcome will more of a positive one. I believe we ALL need to stop judging everyone and try to lend a helping hand instead. It takes a community to work TOGETHER to raise our children so that OUR future can be a better place.

This story of Eddie is actually the ONLY Eddie I knew as well. He was a REALLY good kid and he was always respectful to adults and yes he spoke his mind and was very funny about it. This is what made Eddie the person he was and why so many people celebrated his life because yes, it was short lived, but made an impact on a lot of people in Schenectady and beyond. R.I.P. Eddie!! We all love you and will NEVER forget the person you were.

This is an awesome blog with a lot of incredible heart felt everyday living of most kids in Schenectady, not just on the hill. Judy, because of you, these kids will be able to grow healthy lives and be able to be exposed to all aspects of life. This is wonderful to know that someone loves theses kids as much as you do.
