For years, industrial sites that once fueled the city’s economy have sat idle and deteriorating in and around residential areas. Now, the brownfields are presenting an opportunity for residents to re-invent their neighborhoods.
Perhaps the higher ups in the State Education Department are afraid because they have been warned to not mess with the Schenectady School Board by Mr. Raucci and his goons?????
As a current employee, I will vote for this proposal. To the "older" employees who insist on voting no, you are selfish and greedy and obviously can't understand the impact of your incompassionate vote. To the no voters; may your waning years at GE be miserable and your retirement be filled with unwanted burdens and pain.
And "God" supposedly gave us free will also. Let each man and woman decide for themselves the life they wish to lead and let those without sin cast the first stone. mrmjs and Janet are entitled to their views, but please don't stand at your pulpits and judge the lives of others regardless of your religious beliefs,lest you be judged.
