People are going to drink what they want to. If they have to buy 2 to get the amount, they might end up drinking more than they would have originally.

So they're admitting that our houses aren't worth as much as they thought they were and are lowering their assessed value by 4%. Unless the city leaders decide to spend 4%, then our taxes will not go down!

Yes, Price Chopper and the Golubs have been generous with "their" money. Where did they get the money? They got it from the high prices they charged the consumers!
The new guy is giving us choices and will improve the prices and services all of the markets charge. Who will make it in the long run, only time will tell.

The only people who should be allowed to build in flood prone areas are the people who have the money to do it all, including roads to get to the property, on their own. Why should someone's desire for a home on a river etc affect MY taxes or insurance rates?
