Age doesn't matter; it's the mental and physical health of a person which should determine if they can legally drive or not.

I wonder what kind of magic accounting they'll try for next years budget? Lewis term expires next year - time for her to take the high road and not run for reelection!

Why is it that the Baby Boomers all learned to read, write, add and subtract all in classes which had 30 - 40 kids. Today people demand classes half that size and our schools turn out kids who can't do those things????

First thought - how do they regulate serve your own soda bars?
Second thought - now people will drink more sugary drinks because they'll buy 2 smaller ones to get the amount of drink they want instead of the 1 large one.

I'm no better off, far from it. He made BIG, unrealistic promises 4 yrs ago and few have been kept. Romney's promises seem to be more realistic and he has my vote.

There is only a finite amount of tuition assistance around. If they start giving it to people who can't be bothered to get LEGAL status to be here, then there will be less for students who ARE here legally and who's parents pay taxes!

They haven't taken the Paterno name off the library and I think that should remain. He donated millions to the school and I think having his name on a building not associated with sports is fine. As for the rest of what the NCAA did I'm fine with it. They knew what they were doing when they sheltered the molester; they took a risk when they did it. Now they're paying the cost and will for a long time.

My cats go outside part of the day and for the most part stay in their own yard. They don't go after the birds; they just watch them. They enjoy the fresh air and sunshine as much as I do. They come in every night and their shots are up to date. When it's cold or raining they don't go out.
From: Some experts say cats shouldn't be allowed outside. What do you think?

I think it depends on conditions. If we're below normal, then watering should be limited. If we've had a wet winter and spring, then no limits.
