Finally the former chief and is wife have been indicted! Let the new chief start with this horrible past of the department behind him. There are a lot of good, honest officers in the Schenectady PD who don't deserve the reputation the department has because of officers like Kazcmarek.

If we boycott these games the medals will always have an asterisk after them, meaning the athletes won't know if they would have won them if they had competed against the US athletes.

I think we should boycott games. I plan to watch none of the games, including the 'Today Show' - that action might hurt the advertisers who might think twice before supporting a country with such a poor human rights record. It's 1 small action, but, better than none - and more single actions like mine might add up to something.

I think NY constitution should be changed to be the same as the US constitution. When the VP leaves or becomes President the VP is replaced by the President nominating a replacement and the Senate confirming the replacement.

I agree that it's a mistake not to have at least a short obit in your online edtion. A lot of people get their local news when they travel from online newspapers. Please consider at least something basic like name, spouse, city of residence and dates of birth and death.
