This is terrific~~ I am an adult with a daughter of my own and I still remember being made fun of in high schooo because of my clothes - went to school in an "affluent" district and too much emphasis was put on what you wore. My mom was a young widow and raised four of us on her own. I applaud this teacher who is making more of a difference in these kids futures than she realizes.

"You see new signs" If you have a magnifying glass - or do you mean the oversised sign on the Socha Plaza property that was put there BEFORE the building was improved?? You know the one with the picture of the new building...He must have been pretty sure of himself.
Please allow small businesses to put larger more visible signs so there business can thrive and not become the casualty of the ridiculous rules that the Town of Glenville implements. We needed a bakery in Glenville - now that is gone - Support small business but make it known they are there!!

Won't be getting our vote Wake up - Still a lot of work to be done- Is the empty weed infested (who knows what else) lot across from Price Chopper still a priority??? Oh wait - it needs to be empty to provide all of the politicians a place for their campaign signs. It is wonderful that Target is here and Panera will be soon (what a fight that was) along with Chipotle coming but that is so the area next to Town Hall looks pretty. Many people feel the same way - so a lot of stepping up to the plate is in order..

Are they splitting the cost out of their own money, or each other's City budgets?

I am confused. What happened when he went to school when he showed signs of abuse?
This is so upsetting in so many ways

Hmmm not that I really care about the signs but I wonder what Socha is planning on doing in their new plaza. I love that his huge sign near the road on Rte 50 was up before the official "approval" to build. They must want to change their signs once things are built which is the reason for the "modernization" of the sign ordinance. Too late for some of the small businesses that have failed because they couldn't have big enough signs and potential customers were not even aware that the shops were available.
