Plus if they end up coming and are not discouraged like other businesses have been in the past, wouldn't it make more sense for them to build across from Price Chopper in the weed infested lot that has also been taken over every year by politicians signs?

Sidewalks are great but what about that disgusting eyesore across from Price Chopper? Ease up on the rules about what is allowed to come to Glenville and stop favoring politicians by allowing them to plan on building their buildings BEFORE they are "officially approved" .
But then again, if you allow someone to build across from Price Chopper then where or where will the political signs go??

I think this is wonderful. These kids stuck with it and should savor every moment of this great accomplishment!!

Nothing like trying to put hard working people out of business. Money talks -You can't deny it! Someone with influence and big bucks definitely played a part in this. I will continue to buy food from them when I see them parked near my place of business

That is great - kids with silver spoons don't want to eat healthy so let them eat junk food. . Why not offer healthy snacks in addition to the healthier lunches that were being served. I just don't get it. I am betting the kids in other school districts who aren't considered "affluent" appreciate ANYTHING that they are offered to eat. I am so angered by this article that I can't even find the right words

How sad! The Proctors Marquee is one of the few pieces of downtown history

Sorry I reread the article and realized it really is more of a safety measure.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Price Chopper supplying the alcohol so they can make a profit......

Really??? The Town does not want DONATION boxes?????? There are so many other things they need to be concerned about -Someone obviously was bored one day and decided this would be a problem. The real problem is the deteriorating weed infested lot across from Price Chopper - which is now going to look worse because Pizza Hut is gone - But wait - pretty soon all of the election signs will decorate the area so it will brighten things up a bit.
