biography
After graduating from Syracuse University in 1975, Pete worked for 14 years as a reporter for newspapers in Westchester County, Lexington, Ky., and Middletown, where he won Associated Press awards in the spot coverage, business and series categories. He joined The Daily Gazette in 1989 after a year working for United Press International, and has been an assistant city editor, first in charge of the Albany/Renssealer bureaus, then the Saratoga bureau.
