Biography:

Mark McGuire is the executive sports editor for The Daily Gazette. In going on 25 years as a reporter, columnist and editor in the Capital Region, he has covered a variety of topics and events, ranging from high school, college and pro sports to the Sept. 11 attacks. When he's not covering a game, the married father of two is likely at a game -- more often than not Skidmore College field hockey.
