Kathy started her journalism career nearly 30 years ago working part-time for The Times Union. She has been a full-time lifestyles reporter for The Daily Gazette for 26 years, writing health stories as well as other feature stories. Before her journalism career, she owned her own ceramics business. Kathy has won several writing awards including: the 1999 Eddy Award from Northeast Health, a 2001 Associated Press first place award for feature writing and the 2002 Spirit of Healing Award from St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady.
